Nur Pangarker is a British artist born of South African Indian decent. Her work encapsulates the raw subject matter surrounding those suffering from impaired mental health. Her work uncovers the uncomfortable topic with the use of bold gestural painterly marks paired with soft backgrounds creating visual disputes. She emulates her desperate desire to live in harmony with her diagnoses through conversations between paint and surface in the hope to share her struggle and half those of others suffering.
